Tasting

Morocco is famous for its beauty, as well as its people's aversion to photography. This makes it particularly frustrating for anyone who enjoys photography. Esse ano eu me comprometi a desenhar alguma coisa todos os dias, não interessa o quê.  Comecei este caderno em meados de Janeiro de 2021, durante o lockdown, e levou aproximadamente 5 meses para terminar-lo. Eu fui aprendendo enquanto fazia e me permitia buscar inspiração no trabalho de outros artistas que eu admiro por alguma razão. O objetivo era praticar pelo prazer de praticar, sem maiores ambições ou pretenções criativas. Presenting my sketchbook (English version, 'mas tem uma outra em Português também). This year I've committed myself to sketch a little bit everyday, regardless to what. I’ve started it by mid January 2121 during the lockdown and it took me about 5 months to finish it. I was learning by doing it whist allowing myself to get inspiration from other artists that I admire for some reason. The gol here was to practice for the sake of it, without great ambitions nor aiming at a very authorial expression. From Local to Global is a project which raises awareness of sustainable fashion practices in Brazil and challenges a debate on how its cultural references could be depicted in fashion photography, with sections on circular economy, labour, cultural identity, case studies and possible ways of branding local products to global markets. Anitta and the Brazilian cultural identity: Why the singer has established a new benchmark when it comes to portraying and selling modern Brazilian “way of life” and cultural identity. + References to the Remexe Favelinha, a community project from a favela in Belo Horizonte and the From Local to Global, a comprehensive study about cultural identity and sustainable fashion in Brazil. “Vê se me entende, olha o meu sapato novo, a minha calça colorida, o meu novo way of life. Macro 981: a delicate ballet of small winter seeds and their feather-like legs. Into The Rose Garden. The story explores the arrival of human Into The Rose Garden, Heaven, After being effected mentally and physically. Clinical white attires with geometric shapes and sharp line silhouette juxtaposed with organic and softer skirts are hand painted in three primary colour. The three stages of moods.
